Job Description

 Core Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiating prices, contract terms, and service agreements to reduce costs.
  • Inventory & Demand Forecasting: Analyzing demand patterns to maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding shortages or overstock.
  • Procurement Strategy: Developing and implementing purchasing policies that align with company goals.
  • Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and directing the daily activities of purchasing staff.
  • Cost Control: Monitoring expenses and maintaining records to ensure adherence to budget constraints

  • Education: A Certificate/ Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management, often 1–3 years depending on seniority.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills, analytical skills for market trends, proficiency in procurement software (e.g., ERP systems), and excellent communication abilities.
