Receiving & Issuing: Accepting incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and quality, and dispatching materials against authorized orders. Manage forklift to unload from and loading material/ finished goods onto truck.
Storage Management: Organizing the warehouse or storage area to maximize efficiency and ensuring items are easily accessible.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records, including stock registers, invoices, and delivery notes, often using automated software.
Safety & Maintenance: Keeping the store clean, safe, and secure, ensuring proper storage conditions.
Job Requirements
Key Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, inventory management, or a similar logistics role.
Skills: Proficiency in, or familiarity with, inventory software, spreadsheets (like Excel), and barcode scanners.
Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform physical tasks.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
Common Qualifications
Knowledge of inventory management practices.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
Good communication skills for coordinating with team members.
