At FinLit, we live by the ethos of "Make Impact Fun." We believe financial knowledge should be simple, honest and empowering, not confusing, boring or gatekept.
We turn complex topics like financial literacy, investing, economics, entrepreneurship, adulting, politics and current events into content people actually finish, share and act on. You will find us on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and beyond.
But we do not just live online. Through community events and real conversations, we bring our audience together and turn knowledge into action.
Mr Money TV is our biggest brand, over 115,000 followers strong, on a mission to help Malaysians reach their first RM100,000. That is where most of your work will live, alongside our other brands.
And now we are looking for one Social Media Executive to help us go a lot further.
Social Media Executive (Content and Growth)
If you are the person who sends your friends five reels a day and already has opinions about why one of them blew up, this is your playground.
You will decide what we say on social every week. You will find the ideas, write the stories, design the posts and watch the numbers tell you what to do next. The topics are big: money, business, the economy, politics, the whole messy business of adulting, and whatever is actually happening in Malaysia this week. If it touches how Malaysians make, keep or lose money, it is fair game.
The fun part is the translation. Taking something that sounds dry on paper and finding the angle that makes a 28 year old in Puchong stop scrolling and think about their own money. Nail that, and hundreds of thousands of people see your work.
You will not be handed a content calendar. You get to build it.

🤝 Brand Campaigns
Bonus points if you have run a social account before, yours or someone else's, or have a basic feel for shooting, framing and light.
🚀 How a real media brand actually grows, not the theory version.
🎯 How to turn a dry, complicated topic into something people share.
💡 How to write about adulting and money in a way that feels like a friend talking, not a lecture.
📈 How to read data and let it change what you make next.
🤝 What it takes to deliver for a client without losing your own voice.
🎬 Content from end to end: idea, research, script, design, publish, learn.
⚡ And how much you can pick up in a few months when you are close to the work instead of watching it.
You will be making real content from day one. Not mock projects. Actual posts, actual events, actual audiences.
You get real ownership and room to experiment. If you have an idea, you do not need to win a committee over, you just need to make a good case.
The pace is quick and the learning curve is steep, and that is the best part of the deal. Feedback comes fast and straight, so you will improve in months what might take a year somewhere slower.
And your work will not sit in a folder. Hundreds of thousands of Malaysians will see it, and some of them will do something different with their money because of it.
One more thing, because it is part of why this is fun: we have opinions about what we will not do. No stock tips. No taking money to pump anything. No party politics, though we will go hard at policy when it hits people's wallets. And we never talk down to someone who feels behind on money, because most of our audience does.
