Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Debug Engineer located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.  

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Understands conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
  • Prepares technical summary reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
  • Interfaces and confers with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
  • Uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software for analysis purpose.
  • Allocates defect causes to the various sources e.g. process, material, and prepares reports for follow other involved like quality, purchasing, SQA.
  • Interferes with floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as proper problem solving techniques.
  • Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
  • Analyse and configure digital circuits using Field programable Gate Array (FPGA) and Ball Grid Array (BGA).
  • Resolves failures from Point of origin / point of detection.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data and product performance with proper evidence of design related Failure analyze Report .

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
