Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Flex PTP.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager the Product Engineer role is responsible to recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
  • Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
  • High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
  • Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.
  • Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Review product drawings and product tolerancing to ensure product performance requirements are met.
  • Collect, record and analyze data.
  • Develop and implement BOM management processes and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to BOMs.
  • Support engineering change orders (ECO) and manage BOM revisions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on BOM status and metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to BOM management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BOM management.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
  • Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
  • Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
  • Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
  • Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements.
  • Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.
  • Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
  • Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor' degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
