If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<h2>Job Summary</h2>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Planning Manager located in Prai, Penang.Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.What a typical day looks like:<ul><li>Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan,&nbsp; timelines,&nbsp; material needs in order to define production requirements based on plant capacity,&nbsp; which are aligned with company goals.</li><li>Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand,&nbsp; communicating updates to all relevant parties and ensure material supplies able to meet the changes</li><li>Produces revenue investigation and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.</li><li>Conducts special studies, investigations relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and gives in improvements.</li><li>Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management</li><li>Liaise with operation team to resolved daily production line disruption and productivity issues.</li><li>In charge of the development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.</li><li>Develops material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs.
