Job summary:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to a Sr. Director, HR Business Partner located in either Johor or Penang, Malaysia.
Reporting to the VP, Global HR BP, the Sr. Director, HR Business Partner role involves below job responsibilities.
What a typical day looks like:
Develops and executes HR strategies that align with the organization's overall business goals. Anticipates future HR needs and proactively plans for long-term talent and organizational development. They work closely with senior management to ensure that HR practices contribute to the organization's success
Champion the HR teams including COEs, GBS for integrated HR solutions
Mobilize the HR resources to support demands (ramp up, RIFs, M&As)
Drive talent review, succession planning or regional specific development programs for DL, line leaders and managers
Drive country or sub-region initiatives including foreign DL workers, agility DL labors
Deploy country or sub-region specific programs /initiatives /requirements
Ensure compliance with statutory/legal requirements in country or sub-region
Secure alignment/equity between segment ops organizations within country or sub-region
Manage industrial relations, overall coordination with labor departments of Government
Promote diversity and inclusion, promoting a workplace that is equitable and diverse. Develops and implements initiatives to ensure a diverse and culturally aware workforce.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Typically requires a degree in Human Resources Management or related areas. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience in similar business/ industry with specific experience in HR, consulting, project management and change management for Malaysia.
Demonstrate expert functional areas of HR, is considered a technical expert in at least one of the functional areas, and possesses a broad breadth of knowledge in other areas.
Understand the strategic impact of the HR function across the organization and has a thorough understanding of the company and related business entities.
