Job Description

What is this job all about? We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and well-spoken Retail Store Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will be the face of our brand, helping customers find the perfect bags, backpacks, and travel luggage for their everyday needs or upcoming adventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Welcome customers warmly, understand their travel or lifestyle needs, and recommend the right luggage or bag options.
  • Sales & Promotions: Drive store sales by introducing product features (e.g., durability, security locks, material, warranty) and ongoing promotions.
  • Store Maintenance: Keep the store layout neat, organized, and visually appealing. Ensure luggage displays are clean and properly tagged with prices.
  • Inventory & Stocking: Assist in receiving new stock, checking inventory levels, and arranging items on the sales floor.
  • Cashiering Duties: Handle point-of-sale (POS) checkout transactions accurately and professionally.

Job Requirements

Language Skills: Must be able to speak Mandarin to comfortably communicate and assist our Mandarin-speaking customers with their retail needs.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of retail, customer service, or hospitality experience is preferred (fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with a great attitude are welcome to apply!)
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, outgoing, and confident personality with excellent communication and active listening skills.
Product Knowledge: Quick learner who can easily understand the features of different bags and luggage materials (e.g., durability, lock mechanisms).
Flexibility: Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
