Internship for People Generalist (HR/Administrations) 

MYR 800 + Daily Lunch Meals Allowances in the office

We experiment with Mobile Applications on SMS, MMS, USSD, WAP and similar platforms. Our messaging platform offers merchants end-to-end wireless solutions to communicate with, deliver content to and manage transactions with over 1.1 billion mobile subscribers globally.  

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Generalist Intern to support the People Operations team in various HR and organizational development initiatives. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, OKR cycle implementation, employee engagement, and people-related projects that contribute directly to the company’s growth and culture. 

Job Description 

  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding activities when required.  
  • Monthly attendance checking and report.  
  • Manage office administration tasks, including receptionist duties, answering phone calls, and supporting office communications. 
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of company-wide campaigns while assisting in driving employee engagement activities, including events, competitions, internal communications, feedback collection, and post-event analysis (e.g., staff entertainment, sports, birthdays, and festive celebrations). 
  • Assisting in intern matters (attendance, allowance report calculation, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding) 
  • Do poster/infographic on the related matters  
  • Checking and verifying of employee claims. 
  • Work closely with the People Operations and Talent teams to support daily activities and ongoing projects. 
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and updates for leadership review. 
  • OKR Cycle Implementation Support with guidance:
    1. Assist in executing the 2026 company-wide OKR (Objectives & Key Results) cycle.
    2. Support development and communication of the Company Target BSC, focusing on Financial, Customer, Internal Process, and Learning & Development pillars.
    3. Participate in BSC (Balance Scorecard) calculations and data consolidation.
    4. Review and update key strategy documents for alignment with 2026 goals.
    5. Aid in preparing and validating revenue goals using sample data.
    6. Maintain and update OKR samples and reference materials to support departmental rollout. 

Job Requirements

Job requirements 

  • Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Human Resource Management, Secretarial, Mass Communication, English Communication, Psychology, Office Management or equivalent; 
  • Strong interest in HR operations, organizational development, and people-centric initiatives. 
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking. 
  • Required language(s): English 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets skills are a plus). 
  • Applicants must be willing to work in KL area; 
  • Familiar with Canva or any creative related is a plus. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. 
  • Duration of 3 months - 6 months
