Job Description
Content Marketing
Subang Jaya, Selangor, MY
Turn ideas, insights and business objectives into content people actually want to engage with.
At Foxar Athon, content is not limited to articles, captions or social posts.
It can become a campaign idea, a video script, a landing page, an interview, an email, a sales deck, a social series or a piece of content designed to answer one very specific customer question.
We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how people think, learning unfamiliar products and turning information into content that is clear, relevant and useful across different formats.
You do not need to come in as an SEO expert. We will provide SEO training.
What matters more is whether you can research, think, write, adapt and understand why a piece of content should exist in the first place.
If you enjoy exploring ideas and figuring out the best way to communicate them, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Understand clients' businesses, products, services, audiences and marketing objectives before developing content.
- Research customer behaviour, industry topics, competitors, cultural conversations, search behaviour and emerging content opportunities.
- Develop content ideas for social media, websites, articles, videos, campaigns, email marketing, sales materials and other digital marketing channels.
- Write social media copy, articles, website content, video scripts, campaign messaging, advertisements, email content, landing pages and supporting marketing materials.
- Adapt one idea into different formats and platforms while keeping the core message clear and consistent.
- Translate complex, technical or unfamiliar information into content that audiences can understand and engage with.
- Create content angles, hooks, headlines and storytelling approaches based on audience interests and campaign objectives.
- Apply SEO principles, keyword insights and search intent to suitable content after receiving training and guidance from the team.
- Work with strategists, designers, videographers, editors and business operations teams to turn content ideas into complete marketing deliverables.
- Prepare clear content briefs, references, scripts and supporting information so creative teams understand what needs to be produced.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging and communication across different platforms and customer touchpoints.
- Verify claims, facts, product information and references before content is published.
- Monitor content performance through engagement, search behaviour, campaign results and other available data.
- Identify what is working, what audiences respond to and how future content can be improved.
- Apply feedback, performance insights and new knowledge to continuously strengthen content quality.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
- Constantly notice interesting content ideas from conversations, trends or everyday observations.
- Enjoy researching topics you initially know nothing about.
- Can imagine how one idea could become an article, reel, social post, email or campaign.
- Like figuring out what makes people stop, read, watch or respond.
- Enjoy writing but also want to understand strategy, audience behaviour and marketing.
- Find satisfaction in making complicated information easier to understand.
- Are curious about different industries, businesses and customer behaviours.
- Want to become someone who understands content beyond just writing.
You Might Not Enjoy This Role If You...
- Only want to write one specific type of content.
- Prefer receiving a topic and writing immediately without understanding the business behind it.
- Lose interest when the subject becomes technical, unfamiliar or B2B.
- Expect every project to be based on trends or entertainment content.
- Dislike rewriting, revisions or adapting content into different formats.
- Focus mainly on making content sound clever instead of making it useful.
- Prefer following templates without questioning whether the content actually makes sense.
- Believe content success is based entirely on creativity rather than audience behaviour and business objectives.
