Job Description

PLAYA Racquet Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Senior HR Executive to support and manage our human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone who is well-versed in labour laws, confident in handling end-to-end payroll, and passionate about building strong HR processes in a growing organisation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
• Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies
• Draft, review, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, SOPs, and other HR documentation
• Administer employee leave, attendance, benefits, and statutory submissions
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, performance management, and grievance handling
• Support employee engagement initiatives, training, and HR development programs
• Prepare HR reports, analyse workforce data, and provide HR support to management
• Continuously review and improve HR processes to support the company's growth and operational efficiency

Job Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

• Diploma or Degree in HR, Business Admin, related field, or proven experience
• 2–4 years of HR experience; ideally in a standalone or small-team HR role
• Solid grasp of Malaysian labour law and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDCorp)
• Comfortable working independently and making day-to-day HR calls without escalating everything
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with any payroll or HRMS system is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin is an advantage
• Discreet, organised, and takes ownership
