About the Program

The Gamuda Graduate Program is a dynamic, eighteen [18] month program developed by learning specialists to help transition young talent from university studies to full-time employment. The fast-paced and ever-changing construction and engineering environment often boasts steep learning curves for newcomers, and with that in mind, we have partnered with Australia’s most prestigious engineering body – Engineers Education Australia – to create a customised learning experience. 

Our program will provide each graduate with nationally recognised outcomes that will act as the foundational building blocks of their engineering career. Participants will be offered industry-specific training, professional development, discipline-specific master-class sessions, and networking opportunities throughout the program. The theory learnt during their formal university studies will transformed into practice as they join our business and begin their journey as a Gamuda Professional. 

Another essential feature of the Gamuda Graduate Program is a formal Mentoring Program which will inevitably provide the additional support and guidance our graduates will need to transition into their new role successfully. Having expert knowledge on hand will also help close the ‘knowing/doing gap’ that may exist when transitioning from university to the workplace. 

The program has been designed to transform our graduates into proactive professionals and potential future leaders through a series of structured workshops facilitated by Engineering Education Australia. Each Gamuda Business Unit or Project will also provide their Graduate with a unique, on-job experience, which will differ from project to project. They’ll be opportunities to establish valuable relationships with leaders, mentors, and graduate peers. 

Not one Graduate journey will be the same, and this is a real opportunity for each Graduate to focus on their own personal contributions within the business. This program really is Gamuda’s cornerstone program that will catapult Graduates towards continued success.
