Job Description

Job Summary

Organise storage & distribution of GIBS products, ensuring the right products are handled & delivered to the right clients safely, on time, with quality and optimised cost. Controlling the inventory of products (physical & on paper). Ensuring operations safety and quality.         

Key Responsibilities

  • Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.
  • Use data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements.
  • Manage and allocate staff resources according to changing needs.
  • Liaise and negotiate with clients and suppliers.
  • Plan and control storage & delivery operations at factories and site.
  • Plan & evaluate vehicle routes.
  • Implement safety procedures and approve Standard Work Instructions.
  • Motivate other members of the team.
  • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
  • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

Degree (Engineering, Supply Chain, Management, Transport, or Logistics)

 

Skills & Abilities

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

  • Preferably five (5) year of related working experience in construction or manufacturing
