Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible to supervise the construction works.

Key Responsibilities

  • To supervise daily construction activities. Place quality of work done in top priority. To ensure all works carried out and material used is strictly in accordance to Specification and required standard. 
  • To keep record daily all construction activities at site. To report his superior any site problem from time to time. 
  • To monitor and control the construction progress of the projects under his supervision. Report to his Superior if progress is falling behind schedule. 
  • To check all construction drawings and specifications (both building or Infrastructure and S&P Agreement) and method statement; report to his Superior for any discrepancies detected. 
  • To perform QC Policies strictly and to ensure works completed to the required Quality Standard. 
  • To attend the inspection and testing carried out by contractor and documented all the reports and results. 
  • To attend Site Meeting 
  • To issue site memo to contractors for work not comply to required Quality Standard, Construction Drawings and Specifications.
  • To attend on monthly progress claim verification (work done) including variation order if any. 
  • Support HOD in execution of environmental procedure within your department, development or project. 
  • Drive environmental sustainability target/ KPI and report periodically to respective HOD. 
  • To comply with applicable legal and other requirements. 
  • To take responsibility to protect the environment and prevent pollution.
  • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
  • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil Engineering / MCE / SPM.

Skills & Abilities

  • Good working knowledge related to construction and property development.
  • QLASSIC, ISO 9001:2015 knowledge.
  • Construction Industry Knowledge.
  • Technical Competence.
  • Proficient in communication (both verbal and written).
  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

5 years
