We serve as the Vegetables and Fruits go-to solution for restaurants, upscale dining establishments, and hotels by fulfilling their daily delivery requests. Thus, the efficiency of our delivery process is crucial in ensuring that all orders reach customers promptly, which also reflects our service quality.

The Transport/Logistics Manager is tasked with overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of all transportation activities within the company. This position guarantees that the movement of goods, vehicles, and drivers is conducted effectively, safely, and economically, while adhering to all legal, safety, and regulatory standards. The Transport/Logistics Manager also spearheads initiatives for improving fleet utilization, route efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Operational Management**
- Strategically plan, organize, and oversee daily transportation operations to satisfy business requirements.
- Ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods, minimizing any potential delays and interruptions.
- Monitor and enhance fleet performance, including fuel consumption, routing, and vehicle readiness.

**2. Fleet & Driver Management**
- Supervise maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs to guarantee vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance of drivers.
- Enforce driver safety protocols while ensuring adherence to traffic regulations and company policies.

**3. Compliance & Safety**
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws, permits, licenses, and regulatory standards.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle logs, insurance documents, and statutory inspections.
- Implement and supervise health and safety protocols, including reporting on incidents.

**4. Financial & Strategic Management**
- Develop and oversee the transportation budget, focusing on controlling costs related to fuel, maintenance, and labor.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers (leasing firms, maintenance companies, fuel suppliers).
- Analyze key performance indicators and apply improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and service enhancement.

**5. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement**
- Collaborate with internal departments (warehousing, sales, operations) to align transportation initiatives with business objectives (Warehousing, Customer Service, and Operations).
- Address customer inquiries regarding delivery timeliness, damage issues, or service-related concerns.
- Assist in logistics projects and ongoing improvement practices.
- Cultivate operational efficiency and service quality within the operations team for better oversight of overall depot functions.
- Manage all yard operations.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred);

·         Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management;
 

·         Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet operations, and compliance standards, with hands-on experience in JPJ and APAD regulations, as well as ICOP requirements.;

·         Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;

·         Strong leadership and team management abilities;

·         Proficient in transport management systems , route planning, and MS Office;

·         Ability to work under pressure, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
