Geckos is the creative company behind WeWhat. While this role is hired under Geckos, you’ll be working full-time on WeWhat, our social-first content platform. This setup allows us to build WeWhat with the support, stability, and resources of an established creative team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be owning content from idea to upload.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how social content really works — from hooks and story arcs to shoot flow and post-production speed.

This is not a traditional commercial or corporate film role. We’re looking for someone comfortable with fast shoots, lean crews, and social-first thinking.

We’re looking for a Experienced Content Producer responsible for:

• Helping define and evolve WeWhat’s content strategy through testing, iteration, and performance insights
• owning execution from idea → shoot → publish
• working closely with a video editor
• ensuring content is platform-native, timely, and consistent 

 This role requires someone who can make decisions, not wait for instructions.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years experience producing social or digital content
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (short & long form)
• Good instincts for storytelling, pacing, and what keeps people watching
• Comfortable coordinating people — creators, brands, crew, teammates
• Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple projects
• Knows enough about filming & editing to run smooth productions (we have video editors in office to support the video editing) 

Bonus if you’ve worked with creators, influencers, or digital-first brand

What This Role Really Owns

• Designing repeatable content formats and series
• Building a sustainable weekly production rhythm
• Testing content ideas and refining based on performance data
• Identifying scalable content opportunities
• Improving workflows so we move faster over time

Your Responsibilities

• Research brands, trends and audiences to shape content ideas
• Plan shoots, schedules, locations, and timelines 
• Coordinate production from pre-production to final delivery
• Work closely with editors to make sure content is platform-ready
• Jump in to support filming or editing when needed 
• Keep things moving — on time, on brief, and on quality
