Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our team and drive growth in the audio-visual (AV) solutions market. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver technical presentations, understand customer requirements, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to propose effective solutions. Responsibilities include generating leads, preparing tenders and proposals, negotiating prices, managing customer relationships, and providing after-sales technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain company products, solutions, and services to customers.
  • Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineering teams to ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and provide effective sales support.
  • Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up on contacts, negotiate prices, secure and renew orders, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Prepare and submit tender proposals in response to client requests and projects.
  • Work closely with AV Design and Technical Engineers to research, develop, and modify products to meet customers’ technical needs.
  • Assist customers facing issues with installed products, recommending improvements or upgrades in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Solicit and log client feedback, analyze data, and relay insights to sales and marketing teams for strategy development.
  • Set and achieve individual and team sales goals and targets.
  • Train sales team members in the technical aspects of the company's products and services to enhance overall team knowledge.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and continuous sales orders.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Attend industry events and customer meetings as needed to promote company solutions and expand the network.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven sales experience in AV, audio-visual, or related technology sectors.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for a junior-level position — training will be provided.
  • Strong technical understanding of AV products such as projectors, displays, DSPs, control systems, microphones, and networking protocols.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office.
  • Being able to communicate in Mandarin is a plus point.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling to multinational corporations and large enterprises.
  • Familiarity with AV programming and system integration concepts.
  • Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, or manufacturer-specific credentials.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for a junior-level position — training will be provided.
