Role Overview
The Key Account Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager is responsible for managing and growing assigned key retail and distribution accounts for GLAMPICK’s beauty and skincare brands. This role focuses on sales execution, account development, commercial planning, promotion coordination, and relationship management to drive sustainable revenue growth while ensuring strong brand representation across all channels.
Depending on the level of experience, the role may also involve strategic account planning, leading key commercial initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and supporting overall business expansion.
The position requires close collaboration with internal teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance, as well as external retail partners, distributors, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts, including retail chains, pharmacies, specialty beauty stores, e-commerce platforms, and distributors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day account matters, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and excellent account servicing.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies to achieve sales targets and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Support and collaborate with management on business planning, forecasting, and account expansion opportunities.
- For Senior Executive / Assistant Manager level: lead account discussions, negotiate commercial terms, and support junior team members where applicable.
Sales & Commercial Execution
- Execute agreed sales plans, promotional activities, and campaigns to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, stock levels, replenishment requirements, and sales trends.
- Analyze account performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve business growth.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, post-campaign analyses, and management reports.
- Identify new business opportunities and support expansion into new retail channels or markets.
Trade Marketing & Promotions
- Coordinate closely with the Marketing team on in-store promotions, product launches, displays, merchandising activities, and campaign execution.
- Ensure promotional mechanics are implemented accurately according to agreed timelines, budgets, and brand guidelines.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and gather market feedback to support continuous business improvement.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure brand visibility, product availability, and merchandising standards are maintained.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Manage sales-related documentation including purchase orders, pricing updates, promotional agreements, claims submissions, and account records.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate inventory planning.
- Coordinate with Finance on account reconciliations, payment collections, credit control follow-ups, and sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, commercial policies, and customer requirements.
Market & Brand Support
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, market trends, and promotional activities within the beauty and skincare industry.
- Represent GLAMPICK brands professionally during meetings, store visits, business reviews, and partner engagements.
- Support regional, cross-functional, or cross-market initiatives in line with overall business objectives.
- Stay updated on beauty and skincare trends to support business development and brand growth opportunities.
