Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Operations

  • Lead and manage end-to-end retail store opening projects, including planning, site setup, fit-out coordination, and operational readiness. 
  • Develop and execute strategic retail plans to support store expansion, operational excellence, and overall business growth. 
  • Establish and track project timelines, ensuring store openings, refurbishments, and operational initiatives are delivered on schedule and within budget. 
  • Coordinate closely with landlords, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams, fostering strong collaboration to ensure seamless execution. 
  • Oversee store readiness including fixtures, visual merchandising, stock allocation, POS setup, and staffing coordination prior to launch. 
  • Conduct pre-opening inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards, operational requirements, and safety regulations. 
  • Manage procurement, logistics, and vendor performance to support retail expansion and ongoing operations. 
  • Monitor store performance and operational workflows, identifying gaps and implementing continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and customer experience. 
  • Act as a strong team player, working collaboratively across departments to align goals, solve problems, and ensure successful project and operational outcomes. 

Retail Events & Sales Activations

  • Support retail-focused events such as clearance sales, seasonal campaigns, and in-store activations to drive sales and optimize inventory movement. 
  • Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, including layout planning, stock flow, manpower deployment, and on-ground execution. 
  • Ensure all retail event setups are operationally efficient and aligned with brand and store standards. 
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver cohesive and well-executed retail experiences.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, store development, project management, or a similar role. 
  • Proven experience in managing retail store openings, fit-outs, or operational projects is highly preferred. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, vendors, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously. 
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, including store workflows, merchandising, and operational readiness. 
  • Experience in executing retail events such as clearance sales, seasonal promotions, or in-store activations is an advantage. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and drive continuous improvements. 
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners. 
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment. 
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to deliver projects within budget and deadlines. 
  • Willingness to travel and be on-site for store setups, openings, and retail events as required. 
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours to support store openings, peak retail periods, and event executions.
