We're looking for both Senior and Junior Finance Executives who can manage a full set of accounts—from Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), to fixed asset functions. You'll also prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses that support key business decisions.
If you love your Excel spreadsheets, have a keen eye for detail, and are obsessed with numbers, then you'll fit right in.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Perform bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) records.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management
- Manage customer invoicing, collections and receivable accounts.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Prepare customer statements and support effective cash collection activities.
3. Accounts Payable (AP) Management
- Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.
- Maintain vendor accounts and payment schedules.
- Ensure proper supporting documentation and approval for all disbursements.
4. Financial Reporting & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare monthly financial reports and support management reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, customer collections and payment commitments.
- Assist in analysing financial performance and reporting key financial indicators.
5. Payroll, Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely statutory submissions.
- Assist in tax documentation, compliance matters and audit preparation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
6. Procurement & Financial Administration
- Coordinate procurement documentation and reconcile advance payments.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and supporting records.
- Ensure procurement transactions comply with company financial procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Good understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
- Experience using accounting software (SQL, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision while being a collaborative team player.
- Responsible, meticulous and able to meet deadlines.
- Experience with payroll, audit or taxation will be an added advantage.
