Job Description

 

  • Assist in developing design concepts, creating layouts, and planning spaces that align with client requirements and project goals.
  • Support in producing detailed 2D drawings and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit).
  • Collaborate with the design team to prepare presentation materials, including mood boards, sample boards, and visual aids for client proposals.
  • Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furnishings to recommend selections that meet both aesthetic and functional project needs.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews to gain hands-on experience and understand project expectations.
  • Assist with the documentation and organization of project specifications, schedules, and timelines.
  • Maintain and update the materials library by sourcing new samples and organizing current inventory.
  • Provide general support to the design team in ensuring projects meet design and quality standards.
  • Ad-hoc task

Job Requirements

 

  • Currently enrolled in a diploma, degree, or equivalent program in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong interest in interior design, space planning, and materials selection.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Eagerness to learn, show initiative, and take on creative challenges.
