Job Summary

You will be working with New Era. They are an iconic, globally recognized fashion brand famous for their authentic headwear and streetwear apparel. In this leadership role, you will be based at their bustling outlet in Sunway Pyramid. 

As a Supervisor, you play a vital role in supporting the Store PIC to keep the outlet running perfectly. You are responsible for leading the retail team, driving sales, and ensuring every customer enjoys the premium fashion experience that New Era is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and coach the retail team
    • Monitor team members and provide regular product and customer service training so that the team maintains an excellent service level
    • Mentor and coach Sales Associates so that they have the support needed to succeed in their roles
  • Drive sales performance
    • Lead the team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets so that the outlet remains profitable
    • Update budgets and track sales data so that you can provide improvement solutions to the Store PIC

Store Operations and Security

  • Manage opening and closing procedures
    • Take charge of outlet keys and ensure the store is fully secured and locked after business hours so that the premises remain safe
    • Ensure the CCTV is functioning and monitor staff movement records so that security standards are always met
  • Manpower and Schedule Planning
    • Plan monthly duty rosters and ensure sufficient manpower for daily operations so that the store is never understaffed
    • Monitor staff attendance, clock ins, and records in systems like SCORE and Cap Plan so that payroll and scheduling are accurate

Financial and Inventory Management

  • Handle monetary transactions and reporting
    • Calculate cash floats and sales collections accurately so that all monetary amounts are stored carefully and correctly
    • Perform cashier work and track all cash or credit transactions so that price accuracy is maintained at all times
  • Monitor stock and merchandising
    • Track stock movement in the storeroom and prompt the Merchandising team when levels are low so that popular items and sizes never run out
    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and perform stock takes so that you can take responsibility for any stock loss

Quality Control and Compliance

  • Maintain store appearance and SOPs
    • Ensure the outlet is clean, presentable, and that merchandise is displayed according to Visual Merchandising guidelines
    • Ensure all team members follow the SOPs from the Retail Operations Department so that brand standards are consistent
  • Support management projects
    • Work closely with the Store PIC on operational issues and assist with any ad hoc projects so that the store continues to improve

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a retail environment.

Knowledge: Understanding of retail SOPs, inventory records, and staff movement tracking.

Qualities: Responsible, attentive to detail, and a proactive leader who can work with minimum supervision.

Skills: Leadership, coaching, duty roster planning, cashiering, and basic sales budgeting.
