Job Description
- Monitor and enforce safety compliance on fit-out project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
- Assist the Project Manager in ensuring all site works comply with landlord regulations and requirements.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance reports.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for site staff and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on safety improvements.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure work is carried out in a safe, responsible manner.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction or interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of local safety regulations, OSHA standards, and landlord/site compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Able to work independently and proactively.
- Willing to travel to project sites as required.
