About the Role

We are looking for a creative, trend-aware, and enthusiastic Intern Videographer & Video Editor to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you won't just sit behind a screen, you will be involved in the full video production lifecycle, from setting up camera gear on set to editing engaging content for both internal and client brands.

You will work closely with content creators, producers, designers, and strategists to turn raw ideas into content people actually want to watch. If you love picking up a camera, capturing moments, experimenting with new editing styles, and learning fast in a real agency setting, this internship is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

On-Set Videography & Production Support

• Assist in shooting short-form and long-form video content using cameras, smartphones, gimbals, and stabilization gear.
• Help set up basic lighting, microphones, and studio space for interviews, office content, brand shoots, and event coverage.
• Support production teams on set, ensuring equipment, accessories, and audio setups are ready and working smoothly.

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit raw footage into engaging short-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Review, log, and organize raw media from shoots, identifying the strongest moments and storytelling opportunities.
• Incorporate subtitles, text animations, trending music, sound effects, basic color correction, and simple visual elements.
• Learn to build strong opening hooks and apply effective pacing to keep viewers watching.

Content Optimisation & Trend Awareness

• Stay updated with social media trends, content formats, platform updates, and emerging editing styles.
• Understand audience behaviour and platform-specific best practices to optimise content performance.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions for creative concepts, video executions, and content campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement through stronger storytelling, editing techniques, and creative approaches.

Job Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication, Media, Film & TV, Creative Multimedia, Broadcasting, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of camera operations, framing, lighting, and audio capture.
• Basic proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Active user of social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) with a natural sense of what content performs well.
• Eagerness to learn motion graphics, color grading, and AI-powered editing tools to boost productivity.
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to file management and project deadlines.
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working both on set and in front of an editing desk.
• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• High energy with "a personality that rocks hard", but is still serious about producing good work.
• Able to start almost immediately.

Bonus Skills

• Basic experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics.
• Experience using handheld gimbals, wireless lapel mics, or studio lighting setups.
• A personal portfolio, showreel, or TikTok/Reels account showcasing videos you have shot and edited.
