Job Description

The Role

As a SaaS Platform Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical expert who bridges business requirements with multi-platform SaaS capabilities across the CRM, CDP, and MarTech landscape. Starting with foundational platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Sitecore CDP or similar technology, you'll rapidly expand your expertise across the ever-evolving SaaS ecosystem. You'll serve as the go-to advisor who can quickly assess what's possible across different platforms, design cross-platform integration strategies, and guide teams on the optimal technology choices for each use case.

This role demands intellectual curiosity and adaptability - you'll be expected to continuously learn new platforms while building deep expertise in how they interconnect to create seamless customer experiences.

Multi-Platform Solution Assessment

  • Rapidly evaluate business requirements against capabilities of various SaaS platforms (CRM, CDP, MarTech stack)
  • Provide quick feasibility assessments across platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, and emerging SaaS solutions
  • Recommend optimal platform combinations and integration approaches based on business use cases
  • Assess platform strengths, limitations, and total cost of ownership for different solution approaches

Cross-Platform Integration Architecture

  • Design integration strategies that connect CRM, CDP, and MarTech platforms seamlessly
  • Support data analyst for reporting
  • Support activation specialist for orchestration, personalisation and paid media
  • Identify opportunities for platform consolidation or strategic platform selection
  • Create technical blueprints for complex multi-platform implementations

Continuous Platform Learning & Expertise Development

  • Stay current with new SaaS platforms, features, and integration capabilities in the CRM/CDP/MarTech space
  • Build hands-on experience with emerging platforms beyond the foundational trio (Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze)
  • Evaluate new SaaS tools and platforms for potential client implementations
  • Develop internal knowledge base and best practices across platform ecosystem

Technical Advisory & Rapid Problem Solving

  • Serve as technical escalation point for complex multi-platform challenges
  • Provide quick "go/no-go" decisions on proposed cross-platform solutions
  • Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes across different platform combinations
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and provide resolution strategies across platforms

Business-Technical Translation

  • Partner with business teams to translate requirements into multi-platform technical solutions
  • Communicate platform capabilities and limitations to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support client workshops and requirement sessions with multi-platform expertise
  • Guide platform selection decisions based on business objectives and technical constraints

Job Requirements

Experience & Background

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with at least 2-3 major SaaS platforms (CRM, CDP, or MarTech)
  • Proven experience with platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, or similar enterprise SaaS tools
  • 3+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or platform implementation roles
  • Track record of successfully learning and implementing new SaaS platforms quickly

Technical Foundation

  • Multi-Platform Experience: Deep knowledge of at least one major platform (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) with willingness to rapidly expand
  • Integration Expertise: Strong experience with APIs, webhooks, middleware, and data synchronization across platforms
  • Data Management: Understanding of customer data models, segmentation, and cross-platform data flow
  • Development Skills: Familiarity with platform-specific development (Apex, HubSpot APIs, etc.) and general web technologies

Learning Agility & Adaptability

  • Demonstrated Learning Ability: Proven track record of quickly mastering new SaaS platforms and technologies
  • Curiosity-Driven: Genuine interest in exploring and understanding new MarTech/SaaS solutions
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working with unfamiliar platforms and figuring out solutions on the fly
  • Research Skills: Ability to quickly evaluate new platforms, read documentation, and build working knowledge

  • Exceptional ability to explain complex multi-platform concepts to business stakeholders

  • Experience presenting technical recommendations to business leaders

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in major platforms (Salesforce Admin/Developer, HubSpot, etc.)

Expanded Platform Experience

  • Additional CRM/CDP Platforms: Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude
  • MarTech Stack: Familiarity with email platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo), automation tools, analytics platforms
  • Enterprise Tools: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle CX, or other enterprise CRM solutions
  • Emerging Platforms: Exposure to newer SaaS tools in customer experience, personalization, or automation

Technical Depth

  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure, AWS integration services, or API management platforms
  • Data & Analytics: Familiarity with Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
  • Development Background: Experience with modern web technologies (.NET, ReactJS, Angular) for custom integrations

Industry & Methodology Experience

  • Background in e-commerce, B2B SaaS, or digital marketing environments
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
