Job Description

 To be the guardian on the financial position of the Company and policyholders’ reasonable expectations by providing reliable financial information that strategically contributes to the Company’s solvency and return to shareholders.
•To compute appropriate reserve and capital requirements of the Company under local regulatory Framework.
•To analyse reserve and capital requirements movement.
•To prepare relevant reports to internal and external stakeholders such as regulators and internal parties.
•To prepare procedural manual and documentation.
•To prepare and analyse experience of life insurance portfolio (e.g. Claims, Persistency)
•To perform testing on valuation data from policy administration system.
•To perform user acceptance test for Prophet modelling.
•To prepare product, compliance risk assessment.
•Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
•Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
•Other responsibilities entailed. 

Job Requirements

 •Degree holder in Actuarial Science and with good progress in Actuarial exams.
•Attention to detail and able to complete tasks efficiently.
•Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
•High level of integrity takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
•Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
