Job Description

To provide interns with hands-on exposure to general insurance operations in Broking including policy servicing and regulatory compliance, while developing professional and technical skills in the insurance industry. Exposure to industry practises, regulatory environment and professional work culture. Development of analytical, communication and administrative skills.
 

•  Generate new or renewal of business policies.
•  Work on the endorsement of policies requested by brokers.
•  To make sure documents are saved into the respective folders for accessible references.
•  Submission to erite and EWMS for policies renewals & endorsements issuance according to authority limits
•  To ensure filling of policies, endorsements, other correspondence & Statement of Account.
•  Issuance of Cover Note requested by broker whilst pending of policy.
•  To prepare Certificate of Insurance.
•  CABCO processing
•  Screening exercise conducted by BU

Job Requirements

•  3-6 months duration preferably currently pursuing degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
•  Good communication skills in English
•  Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn
•  Able to work independently
