Job Description

To be the guardian on the financial position of the Company and policyholders’ reasonable expectations by providing reliable financial information that strategically contributes to the Company’s solvency and return to shareholders. 

•  To assist in preparation and submission of the regulatory reports and deliverables to relevant internal and external stakeholders such as regulators eg. Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Monetary Authority Singapore (MAS), Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) and Group Office. 
•  To assist in preparation of BNM Integrated Transaction Statistics Reporting (ITSR) Phase 2, ensuring user acceptance testing, industry wide testing and parallel submission are completed on time. 
•  To assist in implementation of new finance system Oracle Fusion for regulatory report module. 
•  To perform analysis of financial results eg. capital requirements and highlight relevant issues. 
•  To prepare procedural manual and documentation. 
•  Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company. 
•  Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices. 
•  Other responsibilities entailed.

Job Requirements

•  Degree holder or tertiary qualification with a recognised local or oversea university or Professional Finance/ Accounting (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, ICAEW) 
•  Attention to detail and able to complete tasks efficiently. 
•  Able to work both independently and as part of a team. 
•  High level of integrity takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork. 
•  Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
