Job Description

This position involves working closely with our Web Designers and Digital Executives to bridge the gap between idea, design, and technical implementation. The role will take an active part in both front-end and back-end development, focusing on delivering robust, scalable solutions for web applications and digital platforms, including Sitecore CMS (if applicable).

Responsibilities:

• Web application development, maintenance, and technical support using ASP.NET.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into functional solutions.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, and performant .NET back-end systems.
• Implement, customize, and enhance CMS solutions, adhering to best practices.
• Hand-code front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services with web applications.
• Troubleshoot and fix software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Day-to-day communication with team members and clients, ensuring adherence to deadlines and project requirements.

Job Requirements

Basic Skills:

• Minimum Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Language: Proficiency in English.
• Attitude: Positive and growth mindset.
• Nationality: Malaysian.

Technical Skills:

• 4+ years of experience with ASP.NET frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, .NET Framework, Web API, MVC).
• Proficient in C# programming.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with SQL Server and efficient database schema design.
• Understanding of web standards and best practices, including responsive design.
• Experience with major browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Edge.
• Proficiency in translating designs from Sketch, XD, or Photoshop into functional HTML/CSS.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience in custom module development.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Sitecore CMS (Sitecore 9 or later preferred).
• Sitecore Developer Certification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Sitecore and custom Sitecore module development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps tools.
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum workflows.
