Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Digital Project Manager who can take ownership of website and digital project delivery — not just coordinate, but drive outcomes and maintain control.

This role is client-facing, but not a servicing role. You are expected to balance client expectations with delivery realities, ensuring projects stay within agreed scope, timeline, and resources.

If you tend to say “yes” to everything clients ask, this role is not suitable. We are looking for someone who can manage clients professionally while protecting project delivery.

What You Will Be Responsible For

1. Own Project Delivery (End-to-End)

• Manage website and digital projects from kickoff to launch 
• Define scope, timeline, milestones, and delivery plan 
• Track progress and ensure projects stay on schedule 

2. Control Scope, Timeline & Resources

• Enforce agreed scope and manage change requests 
• Prevent scope creep and timeline slippage 
• Identify risks early and take corrective action 

3. Manage Clients Professionally (Not Passively)

• Lead discussions on requirements, expectations, and deliverables 
• Communicate clearly on what is in-scope vs out-of-scope 
• Handle revisions, feedback, and escalations with structure 

4. Coordinate Internal Teams

• Work closely with designers, developers, and digital teams 
• Ensure clear handovers, alignment, and accountability 
• Follow up and drive tasks to completion 

5. Execute Structured Delivery Process

• Apply internal frameworks (URS, BRS, PMS) to manage projects 
• Document requirements, changes, and decisions clearly 
• Maintain visibility of project status and next actions

What We Are Looking For

✅ Must Have

• Experience managing website, system, or digital projects 
• Experience working with developers and designers 
• Strong client-facing communication skills 
• Ability to manage scope, timeline, and expectations firmly 
• Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously 

⚠️ Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Experience in digital agency / software house 
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum / PM tools 
• Basic understanding of web/app development process 

Who This Role Is NOT For

• Pure Account Servicing / Client Servicing roles 
• Pure PMP / Governance PMO (documentation-heavy only) 
• Candidates without exposure to digital/web/app delivery

Job Requirements

Experience & Background

• Malaysian only 
• 4–7 years of experience in digital project management / delivery roles 
• Proven experience delivering website and/or web application projects end-to-end 
• Experience in a digital agency or web development environment is strongly preferred 
• Strong client-facing experience with ability to manage expectations and scope 

Core Competencies

• Solid understanding of web development lifecycle (design → dev → UAT → launch) 
• Ability to manage scope, timeline, and change requests effectively 
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-project environments 
• Strong ownership mindset, communication skills, and delivery discipline
