  Logistics / Freight Forwarding Internship – Job Scope

• Assist in coordinating air, sea, and land freight shipments with carriers and overseas agents
• Prepare, verify, and process shipping documentation (Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List)
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to clients
• Support customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with import/export regulations
• Liaise with carriers and logistics partners (e.g., Cma Cgm, Maersk)
• Assist in freight costing, quotation preparation, and billing processes
• Maintain accurate records in freight management systems

Job Requirements

Common requirements for a logistics and supply chain internship in the Klang Valley and surrounding Selangor regions typically span education, duration, and core skills.

 Educational Background

• Degree or Diploma: Currently enrolled in or completing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• University Letter: A valid internship placement or approval letter issued by your university or college. 

 Internship Duration

• Commitment Period: Most companies require a duration of 3 to 6 months (or a minimum of 10 to 16 weeks depending on academic requirements)
