About the Role

Are you a creative storyteller who lives and breathes social media? Do you love experimenting with the latest design tools, video trends, and cutting-edge AI software? If so, we want you on our team!

We are looking for a dynamic, Mandarin-speaking Social Media & Content Creator with at least 1 year to 3 years of experience to own our digital presence, produce high-converting multimedia content, and collaborate on exciting marketing events. Because you will be leveraging advanced Chinese AI tools and handling localized content, fluency in Mandarin is compulsory.

This is a unique role where your creative baseline is highly valued, and you will have the direct opportunity to upskill into digital advertising and paid ad management alongside our internal team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Social Media Management

• Multi-Platform Ownership: Oversee and maintain our brand's presence across Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, ensuring a consistent posting schedule.
• Community Engagement: Monitor channels, respond to comments, engage with our audience, and actively build a vibrant online community.
• Trend Hunting: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and quickly adopting the latest social media trends, audios, and formats.

2. Multimedia Content Creation (Design & Video)

• Graphic Design: Ideate and design high-converting visual assets, including social media banners, infographics, and promotional posts (using Adobe Illustrator for print jobs and Canva for digital/lighter jobs).
• End-to-End Video Production: Conceptualize, shoot, and edit highly engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
• AI-Assisted Efficiency: Leverage cutting-edge generative AI tools (such as Gemini, advanced Chinese AI tools, etc.) to rapidly prototype video concepts, combining them with traditional editing software for polished final outputs.

3. Campaign & Event Support

• Collaborative Planning: Partner closely with the internal marketing lead to plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, ensuring all physical and digital promotional materials are perfectly aligned.
• On-Site Media Capture: Take charge of camera operations during events and shoots to capture high-quality raw footage for future campaigns.

4. Digital Advertising & Growth (Upskilling Area!)

• Paid Ad Management: Assist in setting up, testing, and optimizing paid ad campaigns. Don't worry if you aren't an expert yet—we are ready to co-explore and train you in advanced ad management if you have a strong creative foundation!

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Language (Compulsory): Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) to utilize advanced Chinese AI tools and manage specific audience demographics.
• Education: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Creative Multimedia, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year and above of professional experience as a Social Media Specialist, Content Creator, or similar role.
• Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Shah Alam, Sek 33.
• Portfolio: Candidates must provide a portfolio or links to social media channels/videos they have managed or created.
• Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (for print assets) and Canva (for quick digital assets).
• Video Editing: Strong hands-on experience in video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent) for short-form content.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with, or a strong curiosity for, Generative AI tools (Gemini, AI video generators, etc.) to speed up workflows.
• Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn paid digital advertising and growth marketing.
