Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. To prepare monthly management accounts & reports including variance analysis reports with commentaries
  2. Involve in financial analysis, budgeting and cash flow projection including working capital requirements.
  3. Maintain proper records for all Debtor’s and Creditor’s invoices and attest all suppliers’ invoices.
  4. To prepare and analyze Debtors’ and Creditors’ Aging Reports.
  5. Responsible for petty cash transactions and recordings.
  6. Handle daily banking transactions of receipts and payments and the relevant recordings.
  7. Maintain updated monthly Stock Reports.
  8. Follow up with customers on the collection of sales proceeds.
  9. To prepare & submit SST returns and liaise with Customs in relation to SST queries/audits.
  10. Liaise with banks on all banking transactions and facilities.
  11. Liaise with External Auditors and prepare audited financial statements. 
  12. Liaise with the Tax Agent on tax computations and tax filing.
  13. Inform the superior or Head of Department immediately if inconsistency and / or fraud are discovered. 
  14. To perform/carry out any other/ ad-hoc tasks/reports as assigned from time to time.


Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Financial/Accounting/Banking or equivalent.
  • Required to have at least 2 years of working experience in a similar position.
  • MIA or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
  • Positive attitude. Willing to learn and a strong team player.
  • Experience in the estate/plantation business is an added advantage.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Kajang.
  • Preferably able to travel to the estate in Malaysia and overseas when required.
