Job Description

We are looking for a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations at Grumpy Bagels. This role is responsible for overseeing food preparation, maintaining quality and consistency, leading the kitchen team during service, and ensuring kitchen SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards are followed. The Sous Chef will assist with training junior staff, managing prep and workflow, reducing wastage, and ensuring smooth service during peak hours. This role requires strong kitchen leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
