Core Responsibilities:

1) Scalp Analysis & Consultation:

• Greet customers and perform professional scalp analysis using diagnostic tools (e.g., scalp cameras).
• Identify scalp issues such as oiliness, dandruff, hair loss, or sensitivity.
• Recommend personalized treatment plans and home-care products based on the diagnosis.

2) Service Execution:

• Perform professional hair and scalp care treatments according to Silk Domain’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Master techniques such as traditional Chinese massage (acupressure), essential oil application, hydrotherapy, and targeted scalp detox or hair growth treatments.
• Ensure the correct usage of brand-specific equipment (e.g., steamers, ion machines).

3) Product Knowledge:

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Silk Domain’s product lines (shampoos, essences, serums) to explain benefits to clients effectively.
• Upsell products and services based on client needs to meet sales targets.

4) Customer Experience:

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and relaxing work station.
• Follow up with clients post-treatment to monitor results and schedule the next appointment.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate to the manager when necessary.

5) Operations:

• Sterilize tools and maintain cleanliness of the facility.
• Assist in inventory management (checking stock levels of consumables).

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; certification in beauty, haircare, or wellness is an added advantage.
•  Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with clients.  
• Prior experience in scalp treatment, haircare, or beauty therapy preferred (fresh graduates are welcome to apply as training wil be provided) 
• Basic knowledge of scalp conditions (e.g. dandruff, oily scalp, hair loss) is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and master scalp analysis tools and treatment techniques (training will be provided) 
• Good communication and consultation skills; able to recommend suitable treatments and products to customers 
• Customer-oriented with a friendly and professional attitude 
• Comfortable with hands-on work (e.g. massage, treatment application) 
• Able to upsell services and products to meet sales targets 
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness 
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
