About the role

  • Responsible to deliver the CMO cross functional programs.
  • Responsible and accountable for the timely and efficient development and launch of CMO Projects which require management of multi-functional teams (QA, Manufacturing Science / Technical, Regulatory Affairs, Analytical, Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain, Artwork operations etc.) and which usually involve multiple markets and potentially multiple third-party contractors.
  • Integration of the new programs and initiatives and phasing into CMO network
  • The types of projects to be managed include (but are not limited to) Manufacturing Process Transfers, Analytical Method Transfers, Cost Reduction Projects, sustainability, new CMO and opportunities scouting (linked to manufacturing process or packaging changes), and Process Improvement (for compliance or efficiency reasons) and network projects

Role Responsibilities

  • Program initiation & Planning Develop and implement business case, budgeting, project planning.
  • Leading the New programs from across or within the region into the CMO network .
  • Local innovations and scouting for new products and CMO to enable the local innovation & enable simple innovation using the product profile in the CMO network.
  • Program Execution and Monitoring Driving timelines, risk management, leading contingency planning and the escalation process when necessary.
  • Program/ Project Reporting & Documentation All project planning related documentation such as schedules, protocols, meeting minutes must be stored and retrievable as well as all documentation of technical activities such as reports, investigations.
  • Acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) across all stakeholders (internal and external) related to the program and is required to develop an appropriate communication plan.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • University Degree (Engineering / Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing / Chemical) or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of working experience in operations manufacturing with min 3 years’ experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Science (Chemistry), Engineering (Production, Chemical, Analytical), Supply Chain, Procurement.
  • The Programs with complex and strategic projects (e.g., new product development or manufacturing changes impacting sales delivery in multiple regions) will require more experience – minimum 10 years with at least 3 in project management.
  • Understand the key bottlenecks and risks in a consumer healthcare manufacturing environment. Requires understanding of the technical aspects either through study or hands-on experience.
  • Dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty, High resilience towards ad-hoc changes and requirement to cater business needs. Require a lot of influencing skill and rationale to cope with the nature of business and resolve concerns raised in a quick turnaround time.
  • Handles end to end program/ project specifically Sustainability agenda which is the core of our current business priority as being part of responsible business.
  • This role deals specifically with internal stakeholder and external CMOs to ensure the program runs well – require great interpersonal skill to be able to adapt with different CMO within the SEAT region
