Position Overview:The Manufacturing Operations Excellence Lead for Asia is responsible for driving operational excellence across four manufacturing sites in the region. This role ensures that best practices in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement are consistently implemented to achieve world-class standards in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The individual will collaborate with site leaders to establish a culture of excellence and innovation, with a focus on compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the unique requirements of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership<ul><li>Develop and implement a regional operations excellence strategy aligned&nbsp;with business objectives.</li><li>Set performance benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing sites.</li><li>Act as a liaison between regional manufacturing sites and global operations teams.</li></ul>2. Process Optimization<ul><li>Identify inefficiencies and standardize best practices across all sites to improve productivity and reduce waste.</li><li>Lead lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure effective use of technology and automation to enhance operations.</li></ul>3. Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring and training site teams.</li><li>Implement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis.</li><li>Monitor progress of improvement initiatives and report on ROI.</li></ul>4. Quality, GMP, and Compliance<ul><li>Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and global quality standards.</li><li>Drive initiatives to reduce defects, improve product quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.</li><li>Oversee implementation of quality management systems (QMS) across sites and ensure regulatory compliance in the region.</li></ul>5. Performance Monitoring<ul><li>Analyze&nbsp;operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure alignment with excellence and compliance goals.</li><li>Provide actionable recommendations to site leaders based on performance insights.</li></ul>6. Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Build strong relationships with site leaders, functional teams, and external partners.</li><li>Influence and align cross-functional teams on operations excellence objectives.</li><li>Represent regional manufacturing operations in global forums and meetings.</li></ul>Key Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).</li><li>8–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.</li><li>Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (certification preferred), and other operational excellence tools.</li><li>Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and experience in regulated manufacturing environments.</li><li>Previous experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing and multinational organizations.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence cross-functional teams.</li><li>Experience in working within a multi-site, cross-cultural environment.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.</li><li>Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate diverse work environments.</li><li>Results-driven with a focus on measurable outcomes.</li><li>Adept at change management and fostering an improvement mindset.</li></ul>Care to join us.
