We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. As a Social Media Intern at Handmade Heroes, you will play a key role in assisting with the development and execution of our social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement. This internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing within a fast-paced and fun environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating, editing and curating engaging content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, XHS and TikTok.
• Support the social media team in planning and executing social media campaigns.
• Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
• Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to optimize content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for social media content.
• Assist in analysing social media metrics and generating reports on performance.
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice and image across all social media platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, tools, and trends.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Strong passion for social media and digital marketing.
• Comfortable being featured in videos as part of the brand.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Ai) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
