Job Description

Job Purpose: 

To lead and manage sales activities for the aluminium can & end product line, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, high customer satisfaction, and expanded market share. This role requires flexibility in travel, remote work, and occasional return to the office as required by the business. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution: 
  •  Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business 

growth. 

  •  Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to drive data-based 

decisions. 

  •  Identify and pursue new business opportunities in beverage and food sectors. 

Education: 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Packaging, or a related field. 

Experience: 

  •  Minimum 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the packaging industry (e.g., 

aluminum cans, PET bottles/preforms, closures). Proven track record in managing key 

accounts and maintaining high customer satisfaction. 


Job Requirements

Skills & Competencies: 

  •  Solid understanding of aluminum can & end production and line performance metrics (e.g., 

cpm, OEE). Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Selfmotivated,

target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 

Flexibility & Mobility: 

  •  Willing to travel extensively within the country and overseas as needed. Able to work 

remotely from home, with readiness to return to the office if required by the company. 

Languages: 

  •  Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, or other regional languages is an advantage. 
  1. Customer Relationship Management: 
  •  Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers. 
  •  Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing needs, resolving issues promptly, and delivering consistent support. 
  •  Conduct regular customer visits (locally and overseas) to gather feedback, strengthen 

relationships, and understand evolving requirements. 

  1. Quotation & Pricing: 
  •  Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on internal cost structure and customer 

specifications. 

  •  Collaborate with internal departments (finance, logistic, order handling) to ensure aligned 

pricing strategies. 

  •  Negotiate sales agreements and close deals professionally and ethically. 
  1. Operational Support: 
  •  Monitor and report sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity. 
  •  Ensure CRM systems and customer data are kept up to date. 
  •  Follow up on deliveries, payments, and post-sales service to ensure smooth customer 

experience. 

  •  Work closely with production, QA, order handling and logistics to ensure customer 

expectations are met. 

  •  Contribute to product improvement by sharing customer feedback and market intelligence.
