Job Description

  • Full Set of Accounts Preparation: Assist in preparing the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Handle and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections in a timely manner.
  • Staff Payroll & Claims: Manage the company’s monthly staff payroll, including statutory payments and staff claims.
  • Daily Accounting Duties: Ensure all accounting records in the system comply with the company’s policies, accounting standards, procedures, and statutory tax requirements.
  • Month-End Closing: Support the month-end closing procedure by ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  • Daily Reporting: Provide daily accounting-related updates and reports to the superior for review.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in various administrative tasks as required by the team or management.
  • Other Ad-hoc Duties: Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background: Minimum of a Diploma or Professional Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Professional Development: ACCA affiliates or MIA mentees looking to complete their 36-month Practical Experience Requirement are encouraged to apply.
  • Language Proficiency: Confident and fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken). Fluency in Mandarin is preferred due to the need to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates with strong academic results are welcome. Candidates with at least 2 years of working experience in an accounting-related role, audit, or tax firm are preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
    • Strong bookkeeping skills.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to deliver tasks consistently within deadlines.
