Job Description

 Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Set Accounting: Manage daily operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. 
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow projections.
  • Reconciliations: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and monitor daily bank balances.
  • Tax & Compliance: Assist in SST submissions, E-invoicing, and ensuring compliance with LHDN/SSM regulations.
  • Audit Liaison: Prepare schedules for year-end audits and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle staff claims, petty cash, and maintain proper documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Professional Qualification (LCCI/ACCA). 
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience handling full set accounts.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting or UBS).
  • Languages: Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is often an added advantage).
  • Attributes: Meticulous, able to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
