We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join Helios Group in Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time Accounts Manager, you will oversee the company's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.

Job Requirements

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to inform business decisions
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in the accounting/financial services industry
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Competent in using SQL Accounting and Microsoft Word/Excel
• Good command of English, Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin speaking is compulsory.
