Job Description

Helipro Enterprise Sdn Bhd has been serving the packaging industry since the 1970s and has grown into one of Malaysia's leading manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers of plastic bags and food packaging solutions. The company operates a large distribution centre and manufacturing facility, supplying over 1,000 varieties of packaging products to businesses across multiple industries. Helipro specializes in food packaging, plastic bags, paper packaging, takeaway containers, eco-friendly disposables, and custom packaging solutions

Job Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, packaging products, and operational supplies.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and timely.
• Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, production, and finance departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Maintain and update supplier records, purchasing documentation, and procurement reports.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers to improve cost efficiency and product quality.
• Resolve issues related to delivery shortages, quality discrepancies, and supplier claims.
• Assist in cost-saving initiatives and procurement process improvements.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Purchasing Executive

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory planning.
• Ability to analyze costing and purchasing data.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Able to communicate in mandarin will be added advantage
