Job Description

Cerev CMMS is maintenance software used in factories, government buildings, hospitals, airports and data centres across Malaysia. Our buyers are facilities managers, plant engineers and property managers.

This role handles the company's social media accounts and content. Alongside it, you learn performance marketing, using AI tools throughout.

Full-time, on-site in Ara Damansara, five days a week (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm). 3 months, with a start date flexible around your semester.

Responsibilities

• Run the company accounts on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok (TBD). Plan the week's posts and publish them on schedule.
• Write blog articles a month for cerev.net.
• Produce short video: site visits, implementations, customers explaining a problem. Shot and edited on a phone.
• Use our content pipeline, which drafts a blog post, a LinkedIn excerpt and a carousel from one topic. Choose topics from keyword data, and check and correct what it produces.
• Reply to comments and messages. Pass anything resembling an enquiry to the founders the same day.
• Report weekly on posts published against posts planned, reach, engagement rate, clicks to cerev.net and what those visitors did. Include enquiries traced to social, and what you would change next week.

What you will learn

• Keyword research: reading search data to find what facilities managers and engineers actually search for, and planning the content calendar around it.
• Conversion tracking in Google Tag Manager, PostHog and Microsoft Clarity, so you know which post produced an enquiry instead of guessing.
• Landing pages: writing one, publishing it, watching session recordings, changing it.
• AI tools for marketing work. You use Claude, Cowork and Claude Design daily for drafting, design and analysis.

We set out in writing what the three months should leave you with, and review it monthly. Laptop and all tools are provided. A full-time offer is discussed before the term ends if there is a role open and the work has been good. Nothing is promised at the start.

Job Requirements

• Open to Malaysian students on a required internship, and to recent graduates. Any field of study.
• Clear written English. Bahasa Malaysia is useful for our Meta and TikTok audience.
• You can shoot and edit short video on a phone to a publishable standard. Include an example.
• You already publish something publicly — an account, a channel, a blog. Subject and audience size don't matter.
• You use AI tools in your own work. Include an example.
• Comfortable going on site visits, including factory floors.

Nice to have, not required:

• Design work in Canva, Figma or similar.
• Any experience running a social account for an organisation — a club, a society, a small business.
• Basic familiarity with Google Analytics or Search Console.
