Job Requirements
Responsibilities
People & Talent
- Plan and run recruitment, selection and onboarding for kitchen, service and support roles to meet staffing needs.
- Design and manage performance reviews, career progression paths and basic training programmes to improve retention.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee payroll processing, statutory contributions and benefits administration with timely and accurate records.
- Maintain personnel files, update HRIS records and ensure compliance with Malaysian employment requirements.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Handle staff relations, investigate incidents and support fair resolution to workplace issues.
- Lead engagement activities that strengthen team morale and support a service-focused culture.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in food and beverage.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Practical knowledge of Malaysian employment law and statutory contributions such as SOCSO, EPF and PCB.
- Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms and strong Excel skills for reporting and basic analytics.
Soft Skills & Qualities
- Clear communicator who builds trust with staff and managers and handles issues calmly in busy environments.
- Organised, hands-on and service-minded.
