Role


Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure all mechanical equipment activities are conducted in accordance with agreed health and environment practices and procedures as outlined in the HRC Refinery Management System
2. Advise on mechanical equipment reliability improvements, develop maintenance strategies and audit Compliance with Asset Management Inspection and Maintenance procedures, standards and agreed maintenance procedures.
3. Provide team leadership in mechanical equipment Bad actor program. Identifying Critical / problematic mechanical and machinery equipment. Provide detailed failure / root cause analysis and advise improvements/solutions.
4. Participate as a member in cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency in carrying out maintenance activities.
5. Participate as a member in cross-functional teams on risk and reliability management, i.e. RCM and RBI. Will be the Subject Matter Expert / Superuser for RCM.
6. Ensure implementation of preventive maintenance plans resulting from specific studies (RRM, RCM, IPF, etc.)
7. Provide technical advice and attend to concerns or queries from other engineering discipline, e.g. Project engineering, inspection, maintenance (as and when required), and also from operations and technologist.
8. Provide technical advice and review all mechanical static modifications to the plant installation to ensure legal, best practices and company standard compliance. Review new mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and Integrity learning experience are built in.
9. Coordinate and lead mechanical static equipment related work inclusive of scoping, scheduling, and execution.
10. Monitor and measure performance of all mechanical static equipment & piping system and report major deviations. Advise management of corrective measures.
11. Active participation in all plant turnaround activities.
12. To support in the management of health, safety, environment, all aspects of reputation management and sustainable development.
13.. To support Mitigate Threats to Availability (MTA) process via providing support required to mitigate reliability threats
14 Lead and support Total Flange Assurance (TFA) program


Job Requirements

Job Requirements
1. A university degree/advance diploma in Mechanical Engineering with more than 5 years’ experience in the related field
2. Knowledge of engineering principles & applications for Mechanical Engineering in refinery
3. Experienced in drafting / reviewing isometrics drawing complete with Material Take - Off
4. Experienced with 3D modelling software such as CAESAR
