This internship provides an opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field to gain hands-on exposure within the Corporate Development team at Hibiscus Petroleum. The role offers valuable experience in investor relations, corporate communications, and CSR, contributing to high-impact projects that shape the Group’s external positioning and internal engagement.
You will work closely with a dynamic team to support the preparation of investor materials, corporate branding initiatives, and CSR activities, while gaining a broader understanding of capital markets, and stakeholder engagement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Support:
- Assist in drafting and updating corporate presentation materials and investor decks.
- Support the editing and formatting of press releases, and external communications.
- Help coordinate updates to the corporate website and other digital platforms.
- Participate in summarising key financial and operational data for communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage and compile analysts’ reports for internal reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for the company’s Annual General Meeting and Annual Report
- CSR and ESG Support:
- Assist in planning and coordinating CSR initiatives.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement efforts around CSR programmes.
- Contribute to CSR data collection and progress tracking for reporting purposes.
- Event and Project Coordination:
- Provide support in coordinating events, including investor briefings.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to procurement, budgeting, and project tracking.
- Research and Strategic Initiatives:
- Conduct benchmarking and research on industry peers for investor relations.
- Assist in ad-hoc strategic projects supporting the Group’s growth and communication objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related discipline.
- CGPA of 3.2 or above (or equivalent academic performance).
- Active participation in student organisations, leadership roles, or volunteer work is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ); familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe) is an added advantage.
- High attention to detail and a proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt.
