Senior Executive, Internal Audit

The Senior Executive, Internal Audit is responsible for executing internal audit assignments by performing detailed audit testing and documenting test results and findings in audit working papers, either independently or as part of the audit team, depending on the nature of the assignment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Perform detailed audit testing in accordance with the Internal Audit Programme and Audit Plan.
• Document audit procedures performed, test results, and conclusions in audit working papers.
• Support the monitoring of management action plans and progress in implementing agreed audit recommendations.
• Carry out audit follow-up work on previously raised internal audit findings and recommendations.
• Perform audit-related analysis, conduct interviews, gather and evaluate audit evidence, and, where required, support fact-finding and investigation activities to validate remediation actions, confirm closure, and assess ongoing control effectiveness.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant engineering discipline related to the Oil & Gas industry, with a good command of English (both written and spoken).
• 3–5 years of working experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry and/or internal or external audit roles; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
