Job Description

  • Develop focused trade strategies for category in each key account and trade channel. 
  • Ensure full understanding of changing trade dynamics and development in the retail industry, in order to recommend effective channel & sales strategies that will give the Company a competitive edge. 
  • They are also responsible as part of the for; brand development and convince our distributor(s) who can then distribute to their customers. 
  • Their target audience will include distributors and retailers who can get the product in front of consumers. 
  • Some everyday tasks in the position include developing and implementing well thought out marketing strategies, like product launches and retention programs, that increase success rate and brand perception. 

Job Requirements

  • Passionate about brands and technology
  • Experience in Trade Marketing at modern trade or any equivalent alternative 
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role (for a senior role)
  • Experience in FMCG is added advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work on his/her own as well as part of a team 
  • Fully conversant with MS office applications.
