Develop focused trade strategies for category in each key account and trade channel.
Ensure full understanding of changing trade dynamics and development in the retail industry, in order to recommend effective channel & sales strategies that will give the Company a competitive edge.
They are also responsible as part of the for; brand development and convince our distributor(s) who can then distribute to their customers.
Their target audience will include distributors and retailers who can get the product in front of consumers.
Some everyday tasks in the position include developing and implementing well thought out marketing strategies, like product launches and retention programs, that increase success rate and brand perception.
Job Requirements
Passionate about brands and technology
Experience in Trade Marketing at modern trade or any equivalent alternative
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role (for a senior role)
Experience in FMCG is added advantage
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work on his/her own as well as part of a team
Fully conversant with MS office applications.
