Job Description
A Project Senior Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing assigned projects within the organization. This role typically involves coordinating fit-out teams, draughtsman and ensuring that projects are completed successfully and within budget. This person often liaises with various departments, contractors, landlord, local authority, architect, external suppliers. This person may also be involved in resource allocation, risk management and performance evaluation to ensure the overall success of the projects.
Space Planning: Develop and draw the floor plans, layouts, outlining the tasks, timeline and resources required for successful project completion. 2. Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate design ideas to the stakeholders and team members. 3. Communication: Effectively communicating project information to stakeholders and coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals from initiation to closure. 4. Collaboration: Working closely with team members, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. 5. Performance Monitoring: Tracking project progress against timelines and budgets, and taking corrective action when necessary and managing multiple projects simultaneously. 6. Budget Management: Managing project budgets, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints and adhering to project timelines. 7. Adherence to Regulations: Ensure designs and floor plans comply with building codes, safety standards, and local regulations. 8. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for design elements and their impact on the overall space. 9. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint), blueprint reading, and construction practices. 10. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify potential risks and issues, creating mitigation strategies and problem-solving to keep the project on track. 11. Reporting: Preparing regular progress reports, weekly updates on project status and performance, documenting project activities, decisions, and outcomes for future reference and analysis 12. Flexibility: Being flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, objectives and timeline, and making necessary adjustments to accommodate these changes. 13. Analysis data: Analysis past projects to identify areas of improvement, implement best practices, and strive for continuous improvement in the project management process.
Job Requirements
Education & Qualification • Diploma or Degree Holder in Architecture, Project Management or related field Relevant Experience & Years of Service • Experience in retail project management • Able to liaise with contractor, designer, architect, local authority Technical Skills, Professional Knowledge & Competencies • Microsoft Office; Microsoft excel, PowerPoint • Strong Project Management skills • Ideally to have design background in merchandising or interior design with knowledge of design software ((e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop) • Proactive, think out of the box, have good leadership skills • Embrace a can-do attitude and believe in team spirit • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malay and Chinese • Willing to travel to site if required
